On March 7, Tobias Langer<\/a> successfully defended his dissertation Software-based Memory Consistency Mechanisms for Non-Coherent Many-Core Systems<\/i>, which he wrote as part of the Transregional Collaborative Research Center Invasive Computing<\/a>. In addition to his doctoral supervisor Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Schr\u00f6der-Preikschat<\/a>, Prof. Dr. J\u00f6rg Nolte<\/a> from the BTU Cottbus and Prof. Dr. Georg Fischer<\/a> from the Institute for Electronics Engineering members of the examination committee, which was chaired by Prof. Dr. J\u00fcrgen Teich<\/a> (Chair of Computer Science 12).<\/p>\r\n\r\n

Afterwards, this success was duly celebrated with family, friends and former and current colleagues, and he was presented with a doctoral hat filled with anecdotes from his time at the chair.<\/p>\r\n\r\n
