In three sessions there were a total of 10 presentations on various aspects of operating system and system-software development.\r\nEmbedded in the meeting was the commemorative event for the <a href=\"https:\/\/i4wpdev.cs.fau.de\/chair\/anniversary\">50th anniversary of the chair<\/a>, where the keynote speaker <a href=\"https:\/\/tu-dresden.de\/ing\/informatik\/sya\/professur-fuer-betriebssysteme\/die-professur\/haertig\">Hermann H\u00e4rtig<\/a> put the achievements of the i4 into the national as well as international context. Afterwards, <a href=\"https:\/\/i4wpdev.cs.fau.de\/en\/person\/kleinoeder\">J\u00fcrgen Klein\u00f6der<\/a>, as the (FAU-)longest serving member of staff, traced the early years of the chair up to the turn of the millennium, while <a href=\"https:\/\/i4wpdev.cs.fau.de\/en\/person\/schroeder-preikschat\">Wolfgang Schr\u00f6der-Preikschat<\/a> continued seamlessly with the developments during his tenure.
